Our Approach
Treatment Strategy
Crossroads teen residential treatment programs are centered on evidence-based therapeutic modalities, connection through adventure-based recreation, and cutting-edge treatments.
Types of Therapy
In our short-term and long-term teen programs, therapy doesn’t just take place sitting in an office. Instead, individual sessions happen in many different settings — on hikes, drives through the beautiful canyons, fishing, at the top of a skate ramp, or on the ski lift.
Communication and vulnerable conversations between parents and sons happen in family therapy sessions, and teens learn the power of positive peer influence in group therapy led by a primary therapist or substance abuse counselors.
Recreation
A core component of Crossroads is connection through adventure-based recreational therapy. We specialize in providing adventure sport opportunities that allow the students to build self-confidence as they work toward increased mastery.
Our program emphasizes purposeful adventure living and the natural highs that can replace risk-seeking behavior.

This shop and indoor skatepark is a way to serve the community and instill a strong work ethic in our students.
